We are now in the departure lounge at Heathrow airport, awaiting our flight to Nepal via Abu Dhabi, an overnight stop in New Delhi and then onward to Kathmandu.
We managed to check in okay without going over our baggage allowance and then survived the rigours of the security checks, our trekking boots even passed the shoe security check!
We spent a great day on Friday at our niece's wedding, which was a good opportunity to catch up with family, and to say our farewells.
Anyway Kathmandu here we come!
